| At times, we recommend against the restoration of certain items. These items may be deemed non-restorable for one of the following reasons: • Loss Related The items have sustained irreparable damage from the loss such as scorching, shrinking, fading, color bleeding, and color change. • Pre-existing damage Items that are in frail or weak condition will often times not withstand the necessary restoration processes. We avoid causing further damage to these items by classifying them as non-restorable. • Not cost effective to restore Sometimes the age, condition, or apparent value of an item is estimated to be less than the cost of restoration. Our experienced staff can assist in evaluating the extent of damage to your items as well as their cleanability. We can recommend what should be restored and what should not be restored. |
