When Harry retired, his daughter Courtney Nicholas assumed the role of CEO, while her husband, Jim Nicholas had become President. Custom Commercial was operating in seven Western States, with eight restoration facilities - three of them in California.

It was during this time of energetic growth that Courtney and Jim set out to create a precedent for seeking and adopting the latest technologies and services to provide a better work place for employees, a well defined process for the insurance industry, cleaning processes that were environmentally-friendly and most importantly successfully cleaning, restoring and delivering wardrobes and household items to pre-loss conditions.

We became one of the first restoration facilities in the nation to utilize the GreenEarth system-of cleaning - a method that is environmentally safer than other cleaning methods. CCFRS has adopted technology to streamline the entire cleaning process, saving insurance companies time and money on every claim. Now, as one of the restoration industry’s leaders, we have moved our processes, programs and technology under the FRSTeam banner as an affiliate.

We are proud that many of the nation’s best dry cleaning-restoration businesses have joined FRSTeam in the venture. Built on the success of CCFRS, FRSTeam now has a service area covering over 30 states and continues to grow. FRSTeam is now one of the largest restoration companies in the US.
