White Way Cleaners was founded in 1921 by Z. Bart Rose and A.G. Wallace. Originally known as White Wet Wash Laundry, the business was one of the first laundry businesses in Huntington. The co-owners were boyhood friends from Mason County who married sisters. Mr. Rose eventually bought out Mr. Wallace and ran the business until his death in 1953. His son, Harold W. Rose, then took over until his death in 1981. Now, White Way is operated by Staige Davis, a Huntington native who attended Huntington High and Marshall University. Staige is married to Sharon Rose Davis. They have a 19-year-old son, Bart, named after his great grandfather. But, of course, any successful business is bigger than just the people who own it and operate it. White Way is also a family of employees.

Now as a FRSTeam Licensee, White Way Cleaners will start a new chapter in the company’s remarkable story. “We joined FRSTeam to benefit from their successful operating model and training structure, to help us expand our services and area of service,” said Staige Davis. “We also wanted to be part of a national brand that help us be better positioned in an ever competitive market.” After completing their training in the California Corporate Office, Staige returned to Huntington to get the FRSTeam operation started. “We are so excited for Staige and White Way,” commented Courtney Nicholas, CEO of FRSTeam. “They have all of the support, drive and experience needed to do well in this business.”

FRSTeam licensees specialize in the restoration of clothing and other fabric related items damaged in a fire or water loss. Licensees are independent businesses that have chosen to operate under the FRSTeam brand using its unique operating model. As one of the leading brands in the industry, FRSTeam is moving towards its goal of national coverage to provide a quality resource for the restoration industry.
