Rogers Cleaners was founded in 1916 by Mitchell and Abbie Rogers as one of St. Petersburg’s earliest retail dry cleaners. Mitchell had run a “pressing club” for suits since 1910 in Jacksonville, Florida, sponge-cleaning and pressing suits during the pre-dry clean era. Encouraged by family, friends and Abbie, Mitchell left Jacksonville and returned to St. Petersburg and opened Rogers Cleaners. The family business continued to grow and expand as generation after generation invested in new equipment, technologies and new properties. Now with Mitchell and Abbie’s great grandson, Mitchell Rogers IV, leading the company, the commitment to customer satisfaction and industry leading technology, still drives Rogers Cleaners to serve it’s customers in the St. Petersburg area with great pride.

Building on its cleaning experience, Rogers Cleaners is creating a whole new company as a FRSTeam Licensee. This new fabric restoration company, FRSTeam by Rogers Garment Restoration, will be creating it’s own remarkable story as a separate operation from the retail dry cleaning business. “This allows us be a part of a large nationwide network whose members have the same high standards we do”, said Mitchell, “and will help us grow in to new business markets”. “FRSTeam by Rogers Garment Restoration, with their high quality local service, customer commitment and family history are perfect for FRSTeam”, said Courtney Nicholas, CEO of FRSTeam. After completing training in the California Corporate Office, Mitchell Rogers returned to St. Petersburg to get the FRSTeam operation started. “Mitchell has all of the tools and support needed to succeed in this business,” continued Courtney.

FRSTeam licensees specialize in the restoration of clothing and other fabric related items damaged in a fire or water loss.
