Lansing Cleaners joins Fabric Restoration Service Team FRSTeam is proud to announce that Lansing Cleaners of Lansing, Illinois is now a Fabric Restoration Service Team Licensee. “We have the feeling of being part of a family, by joining FRSTeam, as opposed to just being a numbered member of a franchise” said Sandra Ustanik of Lansing Cleaners. Sandra Ustanik (center) is presented with her FRSteam Certificate of License by Jim Nicholas and Courtney Nicholas of FRSteam Lansing Cleaners was founded in 1946 by Frank and Mildred McNary in Lansing, Illinois. Originally offering retail fabicare services, the company grew to include five additional locations in Illinois and Northwest Indiana as it also expanded with investments in new equipment, technologies and services. In 1978, Lansing Cleaners began offering Restoration Services. With a deep care for the environment, Lansing Cleaners utilizes CO2, Wet Cleaning and Hydrocarbon Cleaning in restoration work. Now with the McNary’s daughter Sandra, and her husband Tom Ustanik, leading the business, Lansing Cleaners has continued to be an environmental leader with their fleet of Alternative Fuel Vehicles. This has led to Sandra and Tom Ustanik and Lansing Cleaners to be recognized with multiple Environmental Awards. Now as a FRSTeam Licensee, this new fabric restoration company, FRSTeam by Lansing Cleaners, will be creating it’s own remarkable story. “We wanted to be a part of a national organization that would enhance our marketing position.”, said Sandra. “FRSTeam gives us a national face that can be recognized in our local market”, continued Sandra.
