FRSTeam is proud to announce that Fashion Cleaners of Omaha, Nebraska is now a Fabric Restoration Service Team Licensee. “This is a perfect fit of our local brand and process with a national brand, processes and a national partner network,” said Kermit Engh of Fashion Cleaners. “It’s a partnership built on honesty, trust and confidence”, continued Kermit.

Fashion Cleaners can trace its history back to the 1940’s as one of Omaha’s earliest retail dry cleaners. Over time, the business grew and expanded with investments in new equipment, technologies and services with the 1980’s seeing the addition of pick-up and delivery routes throughout the Omaha area. In 1992 Kermit Engh took control of Fashion Cleaners with an immediate impact. With the acquisition of Omaha Lace Laundry, Kermit expanded Fashion Cleaners to 9 Omaha locations - creating Omaha’s leading dry cleaners and wedding gown specialists - then in 2005 expanded in to Council Bluffs, Iowa. Fashion Cleaners has continued its investments in new equipment, technologies and services by introducing bar-code technology along with a company wide computer network for better inventory control and the area’s leading delivery and pick-up service.

Now as a FRSTeam Licensee, this new fabric restoration company, FRSTeam by Fashion Cleaners, will be creating it’s own remarkable story. “This allows us be a part of a recognized national brand with new systems and processes”, said Kermit, “and will allows us to grow in to a strong regional brand. As the insurance industry changes with a desire to deal with a smaller qualified group of vendors, FRSTeam gives the opportunity to be a part of that group”. Courtney Nicholas, CEO of FRSTeam said, “FRSTeam by Fashion Cleaners is perfect for FRSTeam, with their commitment to technology and customer care”. “We think”, added Jim Nicholas, President of FRSTeam, “that Kermit Engh and FRSTeam by Fashion Cleaners offer the right combination of business practices and personal service to be a very successful operation”. After completing training in the California Corporate Office, Kermit Engh returned to Omaha to get the FRSTeam operation started. “With Kermit’s drive and experience, he has all of the tools and support needed to succeed in this business,” continued Courtney.

FRSTeam licensees specialize in the restoration of clothing and other fabric related items damaged in a fire or water loss. Licensees are independent businesses that have chosen to operate under the FRSTeam brand using its unique operating model. As one of the leading brands in the industry, FRSTeam is moving towards its goal of national coverage to provide a quality resource for the restoration industry.
