Over time, the business grew and expanded with investments in new equipment, technologies and services with the 1980’s seeing the addition of pick-up and delivery routes throughout the Omaha area. In 1992 Kermit Engh took control of Fashion Cleaners with an immediate impact. With the acquisition of Omaha Lace Laundry, Kermit expanded Fashion Cleaners to 9 Omaha locations - creating Omaha’s leading dry cleaners and wedding gown specialists - then in 2005 expanded in to Council Bluffs, Iowa. Fashion Cleaners has continued its investments in new equipment, technologies and services by introducing bar-code technology along with a company wide computer network for better inventory control and the area’s leading delivery and pick-up service.
